ConnMan 1.7

ConnMan 1.7 was released Wednesday, September 19th, 2012

In addition to bug fixes, features visible for users and developers in this release include:

  • Initial version of 'connmanctl' command line client (Ceara Chewning, Tudor Marcu). Without any arguments the command line clients enters interactive mode; all the commands are also available non-interactively as command line parameters. Even though 'connmanctl' makes it appearance in version 1.7, it is compatible with every 1.x release due to ConnMan's stable D-Bus API. 'connmanctl' needs for the time being be treated as experimental, both the arguments and printouts may may see changes in upcoming versions.
  • Queuing of Agent API requests (Patrik Flykt). Only one request at the time will be sent to the agent, with the 'Cancel()' Agent API method call being finally implemented.
  • Session API updates (Daniel Wagner), with more updates planned for the near future. Notice that Session API is marked experimental.

Thanks for all the hard work and bugfixes go to Alok Barsode, Artem Bityutskiy, Ceara Chewning, Daniel Wagner, Danny Jeongseok Seo, Jaganath Kanakkassery, Jukka Rissanen, Marcel Holtmann, Patrik Flykt, Tomasz Bursztyka, Tudor Marcu, BMW, Intel and Samsung.
